The Original Hikari bamboo powerful blade of the scissor is angled to maintain the degree of the blade for ideal slide cutting.  Sculpt dry hair with no drag, the B-Dry won’t damage the cuticle of the hair when slide cutting dry. They will also not allow you to accidentally take too much hair. Slide scissors allow for soft point cutting too, with no hard lines. Layering by lengthwise slide cutting, eliminates stair steps for natural looking layers and texture clients will love! They are the first scissors specifically designed for Dry Cutting. Many years of research and development were devoted to this design.  Their smoothness and effortless cutting will enable you to create new and exciting styles more efficiently and effectively.  Perfect for all today’s new Dry Cutting techniques: Slice/Slide/Feather cutting, creating a soft tapered finish. The design of the Blade shape is that of a bamboo leaf with a cutting edge that cuts very differently than any other. Although the cutting edge is, as  with all Hikari scissors, unique in the techniques used to create it; with the B-Dry it is the curvature of the cutting edge that makes this Scissor a standalone specialty tool. As the cutting action is executed, the hair is chased along the blade (because of its curved shape) leaving a very long, soft and curved finish. Specifically for dry hair, although they can be used on wet, these scissors perform and give the greatest results to freestyle applications on both long and short hair. Not suitable for Blunt Cutting.
